Description

I had meningitis at the age of 11 months and suffered severe hearing loss in both ears as a result thereof.

Thanks to the quick decisions and actions by my loving parents at that time, I started speech therapy at an early age. This established the much needed foundation that later enabled me to attend main stream schools.

After I passed matric in 1995, I obtained my B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Information Technology in 1999, and today have a very successful career as a software developer.

The purpose of my project on this site, is to give something back to the community: a token of my gratitude to all of those who have been involved in making my life such a huge success!

I am a 32-year old male who loves sport, especially rugby, cricket, golf, tennis, F1 and my passion, which is running. It is through my running that I would like to plough something back to those less fortunate than myself.

This year I plan to do my 3rd Two Oceans and 2nd Comrades marathon.
