Thank you for taking the time to come to my BackaBuddy page.
On Sunday 30th May, I will be taking part in the Comrades Marathon, a 89+ km run from Pietermaritzburg to Durban.
This year, I'm running for a cause that is close to my heart. Human Trafficking is becoming a huge problem. This year, the Soccer World Cup comes to South Africa. To celebrate this and to allow them to be part of the event, the schools will be taking a 6 week break over the World Cup. Unsupervised children could be a target for Human Traffickers.
To combat this, Bryanston Methodist Church is running an initiative called The Ultimate Goal (TUG). One of the projects is aimed at providing safe entertainment for children over this period.
Please help me to support them by donating to the Champions for TUG initiative.
