I am supporting KHAYA CHESHIRE, a subsidiary of Cheshire Homes Eastern Cape.
They run a fully operational daycare centre for some 20 disabled children from the local township. We employ four staff members, have their own vehicle and have a well run project that receives no Government funding whatsoever. Through the goodness of the local community, they operate extremely cost effectively. The children come from very poor homes and they try doing as much as they can to assist their families. In so doing, they strive to impact positively on the extended family. Khaya Cheshire is a great success story.
