The Beanz on Bikes team consists of a group of riders who will be taking on either the 94.7 road or mountain bike race or even both. Look out for our vibrant KidneyBeanz cycling gear, enthusiastic and determined spirits.
Our goal is not just to raise funds for these brave children undergoing hours of dialysis and transplantations, but also to raise awareness of the service and the importance of organ donation.

This legally registered trust supports children with severe kidney diseases who attend the Morningside Children's Kidney Treatment Centre. This centre is unique. It is the only private centre in Africa that treats the full range of kidney diseases in children, including acute and chronic dialysis and transplantation. It is based at the Morningside Medi-Clinic in Sandton, South Africa. The trust's primary aim is to raise funds and provide services to support non-medical needs that children and their families so desperately require when faced with a child with severe kidney disease. These needs include educational toys, volunteer services to help educate and stimulate long-term dialysis and hospitalised children, social work, counselling and occupational therapy, transport grants and accommodation for children in long-term dialysis programmes and for families who are from far and distant places.
