Jan, Theuns, Lyndsay and Aubrey will be running the gruelling, world famous Comrades race this year on the 30th of May 2010 in support of the Bone Marrow Charity Fund (BMCF), covering a total distance of 89km.
The Bone Marrow Charity Fund was established to cover the costs involved for Standard Bank employees to register as Bone Marrow Donors through the Sunflower Fund.
Jan Pienaar and Theuns Lategan are not employed by Standard Bank and have decided that this is a worthy cause that they want to support with Lyndsay Shaw and Aubrey Malele.
Please sponsor our runners per km even if it is 50c or R5 per km.
The three single biggest donations will each get a 750ml bottle of Rupert & Rothschild Classique wine (free delivery in Johannesburg).
If you are a Standard Bank employee - kindly include your personnel number as a reference when making a donation as the bank will match the amounts that the employees donate.

Bone Marrow Charity Fund |
This fund was established by Gerhard Schröder and Kirsty Mackenzie in October 2009 for the purpose of covering the costs involved registering Standard Bank employees who want to register as Bone Marrow Donors. We work with the Sunflower Fund and by doing this we are trying to take some financial burdens off them and try to register as many people as possible. Please be aware that this is not a Standard Bank fund or initiative, but purely an employee initiative as Standard Bank will not be connected to the fund. |
