Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
This year, I have decided to join The Cows and raise funds for CHOC by riding the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge as a Calf.
This is a cause very close to my heart, my young cousin Andrew having lost his battle with cancer at only 3 years old.
We are targeting raising more than R1 million to build a house for children receiving daily treatment for cancer at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto.

The 2009 CHOC Cow Challenge will be taking to the streets for the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge on 15 November 2009 with a peloton of more than 50 inspired cyclists dressed in Cow Suits taking on the challenge for charity. The 2009 CHOC Cow Challenge is aiming to raise more than R1 million for CHOC (Childhood Cancer Association). To learn more about the 2009 CHOC Cow challenge, go to www.choc.org.za WHAT IS CHOC? CHOC is a country wide organization that provides the highest level of care required to treat children with cancer in keeping with the latest developments world-wide. Challenge Options > CALF (target is R5,000; ideal for novices who just want to get around in one piece; mad cow rating 2/5) > COW (fund raising target R20,000; ride in a cow suit, mad cow rating 4/5) > COW-ON-AN-ICE-CREAM-BIKE (raise R10,000, get a company to sponsor R20,000 for the company branded ice cream bike; mad cow rating 5/5) > SUPERCOW (Seasoned riders only; raise R5,000; ride TWICE round and rejoin the main herd; mad cow rating 5/5) |
