Walking for an Outing for Everyone

Irene Homes steeped in great traditions has many highlights happening throughout the year. Once again the residents and day workers will be walking 5 km in the Spar Ladies Challenge on 30 August, 2008. Impact Radio has most kindly sponsored the entrance fee for the walkers.

This year the Walk will be a little different not only will be walking for fun but we will be challenging all our supporters to help us raise funds for our Annual Day Outing. 150 people - residents, day workers, staff and volunteers from Irene Homes will go to a recreational resort for the day. It is a FUN day - playing games, socialising and having lots of food and cool drink.

The day’s outing costs us lots of money so everyone is taking up the challenge to raise R 10,000.00
