Midmar Mile 2010 - one mile swim across the Midmar dam in Howick, Kwa Zulu Natal. A group of friends from Henley-on-Klip have been training since October in preparation for the Midmar Mile 2010 (now in its 37th year and the world's largest open water swimming event). We are doing the swim for fun and would appreciate all donations which we will be handing over to the Rotary Club of Meyerton Henley on Klip. We would like to raise funds for our local Rotary Club who support charities in the Midvaal area, such as the Emthonjeni care project, Randvaal Ou Tehuis, Bethesda care centre, Michael Rua School and the Meyerton police station, to name a few. Please support us and make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
