We have been able to raise R 81 182.48 far exceeding our fund raising target of R 50 000.00 - This is awesome, what are the chances of reaching R 100 000.00
Thanks to everybody that donated and sponsored towards our ABSA Cape Epic 2012 Challenge for NJCH We completed the stage race in 58hrs 28mins, 125th in the masters category and 403 of 600 teams overall - it was one hell of a challenge
Why NJCH (a registered NGO: Registration Number 2000/016494/08), as part of the design team involved in the domestic accommodation project, using innovative utilisation of recycled shipping containers incorporating sustainable, green technology which is imaginative, educational, cost effective and fun to improve the quality of life of orphaned, abandoned, abused and HIV positive children at NJCH
New Jerusalem Children’s Home is a small entity with a big vision. Its aim is to become one of the best children’s homes in Africa in the provision of holistic and integrated quality care to orphaned, abandoned, abused, traumatised, and vulnerable or HIV positive children.
The Home is presently taking care of 80 children between the ages of 0 and 16 years of age – a number that has grown dramatically since opening its doors in 2000. Many of our children are infected or affected by HIV/AIDS

New Jerusalem Children's Home |
New Jerusalem Children’s Home in Midrand provides holistic and integrated residential care to 80 orphaned, abandoned, abused, traumatised, vulnerable and HIV positive children. The Home was founded in 2000 by Advocate Anna Mojapelo and her social worker sister, Phina Mojapelo. Both remain actively involved in the Home. The Home has a fully equipped Montessori pre-school on site for the children of the Home and children from the surrounding community. |
