Hi Friends,

There are times where you just have to trust a buddy, right?

With that in mind, I will give you the abridged version of this important event: Children in the Wilderness (initated by Paul Newman) is an incredibly moving and valuable organization dedicated to helping at risk and orphaned African children by taking them into Africa's wild areas and teaching them the value of our natural world and how to protect it. That leads to motivating these young folks towards careers in Africa's conservation and service industry and provides inspiring stories of success.

Now -- and this is something that may interest you -- a special event has been arranged called Soccer in the Wilderness which uses the world's game -- for which I have a particular passion, as do a great number of my friends -- to reach out to these youngsters. Soccer is a universal language.

As the World Cup (the largest single event on our planet, held quadannually -- that's every four years for my dopey close friends) is held in South Africa in 2010 this event is particularly relevant and my company, Natural Habitat Adventures, is sponsoring as many teams as we can to get as many at risk kids to participate and get out into the wilderness.

Many of these children of no other options... and Children in the Wilderness has succeeded with thousands of children to date.
