Hi Everyone

Two and a half years ago I decided to reform my life and set some goals. I then set out to achieve them. (I have a wonderful husband who indulges all my whims.)

I lost weight and made a real effort to get fit. On reading Paulo Coelho's book "The Pilgrimage", I decided to walk the Camino. On my return, I was looking for the next challenge. It was about this time, when Arlene asked if I would consider climbing Kilimanjaro. I agreed immediately. After being obese for some 25 years and unable to take part in many activities, I am going to make sure that my bucket list is complete.

If I can raise funds for charities whilst doing so I would consder myself really blessed.

My moment of madness begins on 4 September and we summit on 12 September.

Prim Villa is a Methodist Homes for the Aged Frail Care Centre specialising in the care of Alzheimer's and dementia. I would appreciate it if you would reach for the credit card and help me to support this amazing organisation. Also, please could I ask you to communicate the details of this fundraising page to anyone who you know may be interested. It is all for a great cause!

We climb up and down 205 steps, five times at the Westcliffe every week and have done a ton of fitness and strength training. We are ready for this challenge. Please help me to make it worth while.
