Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
This year, I have decided to join The Cows and raise funds for CHOC by riding the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge dressed in cycling gear with cow prints on. We are targeting raising more than R4 million to upgrade the pediatric oncology wards at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital. The pediatric oncology wards at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital provide hundreds of children from across South Africa with treatment for cancer. I have had the opportunity to work with these amazing children during my training as a physiotherapist, many of whom spend lengthy periods of time in the hospital. Upgrading the Oncology wards to make them more "child-friendly" and less "hospital-like" would definately go a far way to uplifting the children and parent's spirits as they fight this horrible disease.
