Hi there and thank you for visiting my fundraising page, I really appreciate the time taken to read through and respond to what normally would be deemed "SPAM."
I am by no means racing or cycling seriously again but I am trying to ignite the fire in my heart to hit the road again with my bike and enjoy the beautiful sport of cycling again. As a kick start to my endeavours, I have been asked to assist in a fund raising project for CHOC. Many of you would associate this cause with the brightly coloured cows, littering strategic points around the country, whether they be on lawns of office parks or painted on the side of planes, but I have decided to muster up the energy, and pedal an ice cream bike. Yes, you read right, an ice cream bike on race day, a full 94.7 km! I have become a Mad Cow of The Herd!
Why do this to myself you ask? Well, these kids face monumental challenges daily, far greater than my personal ambition of trying to ignite my passion for the bike or even pedalling an ice cream bike around a hilly, blistering hot track, in a cow suit. To be able to associate myself with this cause, to help rekindle my love for the bike, I have chosen to be apart of this project to do the best I can do on both the day, and supporting the children that require it most.
