Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
This year, I have decided to join The Cows and raise funds for CHOC by riding the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge. The challenge of only doing the route once was not good enough, so I will be doing the route TWICE! Yip, that is almost 200km in one day.. :-) I think I'm more of a MAD COW than a SUPER COW to be honest!
The reason for my involvement with CHOC is due to my Uncle passing away in February this year after his battle with cancer, and one of my buddies beating Adrenocortical Carcinoma cancer in November last year! I also had a scare with a cancerous mole that was removed in March this year, thankfully it was removed successfully.
We are targeting raising more than R4 million to upgrade the pediatric oncology wards at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital. The pediatric oncology wards at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital provide hundreds of children from across South Africa with treatment for cancer.
