Bone Marrow Charity Fund

Hi All, So what are we all about? This fund was established by Gerhard Schröder and Kirsty Mackenzie in October 2009 for the purpose of covering the costs involved registering Standard Bank employees who want to register as Bone Marrow Donors. The fund is still young and rather small and we will therefore start with the employees who work at the head office in Johannesburg, South Africa. We work with the Sunflower Fund and by doing this we are trying to take some financial burdens off them and try to register as many people as possible. Please be aware that this is not a Standard Bank fund or initiative, but purely an employee initiative as Standard Bank will not be connected to the fund. Standard Bank did agree that they will match donations coming from Standard Bank employees and therefore we ask you to include your personnel number as a reference when making a donation to help us to keep track of all the Standard Bank employees making donations. Anyone is welcome to make a donation to the fund. Only donations from Standard Bank employees will be matched.
