Childline Gauteng
Childline Gauteng is a dynamic, nationwide non-profit organisation born (in 1989) out of the need to offer children related services to children, social workers, parents, etc. We promote a culture of child rights. Childline has a 24h toll free helpline, offers face to face counselling, life skills education, training and supports the Sunlight Safe House for abused and abandoned children. We also play a large advocacy role with government and other stakeholders. Our Community Awareness and Prevention Programme has rolled out to over70 000 school pupils, teachers and others.
