Ratanang Home Based Care

Statistics show that we are now entering a mature stage of HIV / AIDS, large numbers of people are becoming sick with AIDS and need home based services. Many children are being orphaned on daily basis, thus the need for foster care. The burden now lies with children and none professional people to take care of the sick family members and other people, hence mental health care users are taken as outcasts as no one wants to associate with them. The solution is to train and deploy more home based care workers in communities and encourage the training of more foster care parents within our communities and thus keeping the children in the community where they belong. A large number of mental health care users are stuck in mental Health Care Hospitals due to lack of half way facilities to enhance their incorporation into communities. Most of the people, including the children, are in urgent need of nutrition.
