The Paige Project

Desmond Tuk Tuk Team is using The Paige Project account on "backabuddy.co.za" as a solution to donate funds to the team through a safe and secure method. All funds will be donated amongst 3 charities:

Clair: Peninsula School Feeding Association PSFA has provides meals everyday to hungry children in 739 primary, secondary and special-needs schools in the Western Cape  www.psfa.org.za

Nicky: "iThemba Lethu" means "hope" or "destiny" in Zulu.  Durban orphanage that takes in orphaned and abandoned babies.

 Megs : The Paige project- caring for under privileged children with cerebral palsy in South Africa- www.thepaigeproject.co.za)

All monies raised go to the charties and no donated monies will be used to fund our travels to Sri Lanka.

The Paige Project is a charity organisation who’s main objectives are to raise funds to benefit disadvantaged children with physical and mental disabilities (primarily caused by cerebral palsy), by supplying their family, care facilities or social workers with equipment or training courses to assist in the child’s development. The Paige Project is dedicated to assisting other non-profit organisations on a voluntary basis as well as individuals in need. In 2011 we are funding a project in Limpopo in association with Malamulele Onward. The Initiative provides for Therapy, Equipment & Caregiver Training to 35 Children with Cerebral Palsy at the Donald Fraser Hospital, Vhembe District, Limpopo Province.
