The CANSA Corporate Relay for Life is a essentially a CANSA fundraiser, but more than that, it is to honour cancer survivors both in remission and those fighting cancer and to remember the loves ones that have passed away. Relay For Life is a unique event offering everyone in a business and community the opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. It represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those facing cancer will be supported and that one day cancer will be overcome.

The  CANSA Corporate Relay For Life will take place on 3-4 September at the sportsgrounds of the Denel Properties, Irene Campus in Centurion.

Companies or groups of people (i.e. friends or families) enter teams of 10-15 people who walk a 12 hour relay throughout the night of 3-4 September 2011.

The VIP Guests, the survivors, will walk the first round, followed by the caregivers (family, friends, doctors, nurses). After that, teams will continue with the relay throughout the night.

There will also be a special ceremony to remember loved ones who have passed away.

It is a huge event, with live entertainment throughout the night provided by amongst others Jakkie Louw, Kevin Leo, Elvis Blue, Steven Sterling, etc. Huisgenoot is sponsoring the stage.  Joseph Clark will perform the full 90 minute "The Queen Experience" show at the Relay!
