1Million for my studies

As many South African students were still without funding as institutions commenced with their lectures on the 9th of February 2026. I Phumlani Dywili walked 400kms to Bloemfontein from Johannesburg for six days. I also camped on the N1's freeway filling stations as I was heading towards my destination as part of my fundraising campaign.

This was to raise my initial target of 1million rands for this cause. However, upon realising that I still have a lot of work to do for this campaign, I then decided drop my target to one hundred thousand Rands (R100,000).

The objective for this campaign is to raise funds for disadvantaged tertiary student's towards their registration fee, accomodation, book allowance and possibly give them 3 months allowance depending on their immediate needs.

With the little amount that I've raised so far I now have a student that I am giving R250 towards his toiletries allowance for the next three months, hoping for an extention.
