30 for 30: Help Me Feed 15 Families for My 30th Birthday
My name is Lakiwe, and I am turning 30 this year. Instead of receiving birthday gifts, I want to use this milestone to put food on the tables of families in my community.
That is why I am calling this campaign 30 for 30: I am celebrating 30 years of life by raising R30,000 to support families experiencing food insecurity.
My goal is to provide 15 families with grocery hampers valued at R2,000 each. A food hamper may not solve every challenge a family faces, but it can ease the pressure, restore dignity and ensure that there is food in the home.
The 30 for 30 Target
- R2,000 provides a complete grocery hamper for one family.
- R10,000 supports five families.
- R20,000 supports 10 families.
- R30,000 allows us to reach all 15 families.
