🐾 URGENT: Help Us Protect the Dogs No One Else Will

At 9th Day We Care, we rescue dogs that have been abandoned, abused, and forgotten.

Dogs pulled off the streets with no food or shelter.

Dogs beaten, starved, and left to suffer.

If a dog needs help, we take them in — no matter the condition.

Right now, we are caring for many rescued dogs in cement kennels at a rented property. The kennels are in need of constant maintenance which cost money , and we need to raise these funds to build permanent kennels on our farm in Hekpoort.  This will be a permanent home for our dogs

We are also currently facing R50,000 in veterinary bills from urgent, life-saving care we could not turn away from and gets more by the day.

One of our most recent rescues is a puppy found covered in car oil, poured onto his skin to “treat” a skin condition. The oil burned him. He has lost most of his fur, his body is skeletal, and his skin is exposed and painful. He urgently needs special antibiotic creams, sunscreen, nutritious food, blankets,...
