A Father Needs a Bridge to Get Back on His Feet

My name is Phillip. I live in Fourways, Johannesburg, with my two primary school-aged children.

I am a qualified environmental project manager with 14 years of experience — I have worked across South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and the DRC. I have managed projects for major energy companies, worked to U.S. EPA testing standards, and held ISO 17025 quality certification.

I lost my job in 2022. Since then I have done everything I can — freelance project work, travel consulting, job applications, reaching out to every contact I have. I have not given up and I am not giving up now.

But today I am at the wall.
