A Home for Me and My Dad’s Cats

Three years ago, I made a promise to support my dad when he was going through a difficult time after his divorce. I took on debt to help him, believing that together we would get through it. Sadly, in December, my world was turned upside down when my dad passed away.

On top of my existing debt, I had to take out more to cover his medical expenses. I now also care for his two beloved cats, who are my last living connection to him and a huge source of comfort during this painful time.

Right now, I am staying with a friend, but this is only temporary. I urgently need to find a safe home for myself and the cats. Unfortunately, my monthly debt repayments make it impossible for me to afford rent.

I am asking for help to:

Pay down part of my debt so I can afford housing

Cover a deposit for a rental

Buy basic furniture and essentials (a fridge, bed, washing machine, and scratching posts for the cats)
