Help Us Build a Home & Expand Our Wildlife Rehabilitation Efforts.

Since 2008, we have dedicated our lives to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing injured and orphaned wildlife, especially birds of prey. In September 2020, we moved to Gouritzmond during the lockdown when tourism came to a standstill. We settled on a small farm plot with the sole focus of caring for our birds and building the most suitable enclosures for them.

Over the years, we have rescued, rehabilitated, and released many animals, steadily growing our rehabilitation center. We did all of this before building a home for ourselves.

We currently live in a small building that was once a workshop on the plot, which we've converted into a home. While we’ve made it work, it’s far from ideal for our family. Despite facing financial ups and downs, we’ve always prioritized the care of the wildlife we rescue.
