A Step Closer To Becoming Dr Mnikathi

Hi friends, my name is Owethu Mnikathi. I was a UCT first year medical student and I consider myself a small girl with a big dream. In 2024 I saw that dream leaning an inch closer into becoming a reality when I was accepted into the number 1 medical school in the continent. This was after the blood, sweat, and tears I put into excelling in matric. Unfortunately I find myself in a limbo, unable to register for my second year after a very taxing first year due to the shortfall created by the NSFAS cap leaving me with a debt of R41 138. This is an amount I simply cannot pay as none of my family members are employed. I have exhausted all other means, trying to raise these funds but have been met with constant dead ends.
