I want to tell you about someone extraordinary.

Lauren is a clinical therapist. She works virtually with clients across multiple countries, specialising in eating disorders, anxiety and trauma. She sits with people at some of the hardest points in their lives and she does it with a level of care, dedication and precision that still takes my breath away.

She is also the mother of our three-year-old daughter.

Between client sessions, between bedtime stories, between the thousand things that come with raising a small person — including being called mommy a million times a day — Lauren found a way to apply to one of the most internationally respected postgraduate CBT training programmes in the world.
