Ten years ago, my home became the scene of a terrifying armed robbery, orchestrated by four ruthless individuals. Their intrusion left me bound, a gun pressed to my head, and a towel forced into my mouth. Miraculously, I managed to activate my remote panic button, summoning timely assistance. The responding armed response heroically intervened, neutralizing the immediate threat.

Despite this, the trauma lingered. A mere three nights later, I received a chilling call from the SAPS, urging me to evacuate my home immediately. Shockingly, it was revealed that one of the apprehended robbers had escaped with inside help. Only 200 meters from my residence, he was eventually recaptured.
