Shark Lab Rescue

Our beloved Aquarium at the Point has been destroyed by rough sea conditions we experienced on 16 September. Alan Jardine who dedicated his whole life to animal conservation needs our help to restore the aquarium. If you enter the Shark Lab you can not miss the meticulous precision of the well-being of all the marine fish, octopus and Smooth Hound Sharks. He offers an out of this world swimming experience with Bonny and Bean, the two Smooth Hound Sharks. The Shark Lab educates schools during tours and give the kids personal experiences they will talk about for some time. If you take time to talk with Alan, you will hear the most amazing stories. It will be a great loss for Mossel Bay if the Shark Lab has to close its doors. 

I am a former employee of the Shark Lab and Alan taught me so much. A visit to the Shark Lab can teach you amazing things about conservation as well as marine life. Alan will be able to rebuild the Shark Lab, replacing fish tanks, installing pumps, get new marine residents to help him bring aware...
