My name is Albertina Matsinhe and I am 19 years old. I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Witwatersrand and I am studying Film and TV.
I took a gap year in 2023 however, I managed to make it to one of the most prestigious universities in the continent.
I live with both parents, my mother is currently self employed as a hairdresser and my father is unemployed. My mother tries her best and works extra hard to make a living however,it is barely enough to fund my studies. My NSFAS application has been rejected and this comes as a huge blow to me because my parents are incapable of financially supporting my studies. Hence all the money raised on this platform will be transferred into the University's account.
