Aldus’s Journey: Facing Another Back Surgery

In March, Aldus underwent back surgery to relieve pressure on his spinal nerves. Unfortunately, due to complications, he had to return to the operating theatre two more times.

Since then, his back pain has been manageable at times, but he has never fully recovered.

In May, Aldus began experiencing severe back pain once again. After consulting with his neurosurgeon, he was advised to see a pain specialist. Despite undergoing numerous procedures and trying various treatments, the pain persisted.

Last week, we finally decided to proceed with an MRI scan, hoping to find answers. Sadly, the results brought devastating news: another disc prolapse, which the doctors have described as an extreme lateral disc bulge.

Aldus underwent his 4th big operation on the 22nd of OCT 

This has been an incredibly difficult and emotional journey for us, both physically and financially.
