Altona Primary School is situated in the Greenbushes area, Port Elizabeth.
We kindly ask for your support in our campaign. Altona strives to provide the best possible education for all learners attending our school. Altona will be turning 100 years old in 2025 and we would like to start our celebrations in December 2024 with a music festival called “Veldfees”. All donations and funds will be used to cover our expenses for this event and assist us in making a bigger profit share to improve various areas of our school.
Altona has grown from more or less 120 learners to 506 learners. Our school attracts learners from St Albans, Greenbushes, Kuyga, Colleen Glen, Seaview, Beachview, Blue Horizon Bay, Rowallan Park, Thornhill, as well as the Northern areas.
The school governing body is responsible for the governance of the school. This includes the maintenance of all buildings, sports fields and facilities, vehicles and all other school related expenses.
The main aim of the “Veldfees” is to raise funds for improving and upgrading our facilities...
