20-27% of learners in Ashton and Robertson are affected by some degree of Foetal Alcohol syndrome and have learning challenges.
The community has set out to build a school that will skill youth to be employable without having to attain a Grade 12 certificate. They will be taught their choice of the vocational subjects of Maintenance, Hospitality, Automotive Repair or Ancillary Healthcare and finish school with practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
The community needs to raise funds to help build this school.
