Last Chance Café

Amanda's Ark is a Last Chance Café located in the Cederberg mountains of South Africa.

We rescue, rehabilitate and re-home severely neglected dogs who would otherwise die on the street and dogs whose families have fallen on hard times or carers have died, who would otherwise be euthanised because of an inability to make a plan.

I've been doing this for 8 years as a result of the CRISIS OF EPIDEMIC PROPORTIONS that poverty and ignorance creates, because I cannot look away, if we say no, animals die or continue in their suffering, so we have to say YES.

Saying YES!

There are more animals in need than people, ability and resources and many “rescues” are “solving the problem” by euthanising innocent souls, but we are saving all those who cross our path.

With responsibility for over 70-100 animals at any one time, most of whom live in my home, we have grown to WAY BEYOND what I can manage alone and are in URGENT & IMMEDIATE need of support.
