Amputee trying to adjust to a new normal!

Dear friends and family, asking for help is never easy so here is my story and my journey that I want to share.

I have been off social media and tried to cut off from the world in order to deal with my situation but today something came over me to share the goodness and faithfulness of my God!

9 weeks ago I was struggling to breath, so I went to the hospital close by and my resting heart rate was 168 beats per minute. I also tested positive for chicken pox which went into my lungs. The dr informed both my husband and I that I’m heading for cardiac arrest or a stroke if they don’t ventilate me and have me in an induced coma. I was in this state for 7 days and finally was taken off and making a great recovery, however things took a turn for the worst due to certain complications, an artery in my right foot had an issue and I needed to see a vascular surgeon. My understanding was that I would need a stent or some sort of debridement but that’s not what the surgeon said to me.
