I'm a videographer/camera operator/content creator with a background in news broadcasting and a love for telling uplifting stories and lifting people's spirits. I care deeply about this country and its people.I am particularly passionate about urban renewal projects and the potential that they have to address so many of the social ills that beleaguer our communities.
I'm working on my own documentary/interview about the recent renovation of a public swimming pool in my area. It's an inspiring success story about what happens when community leaders and politicians band together to put their differences aside to revive a swimming pool which not only brings joy to residents from the surrounding areas, but is also a now source of regular employment for disadvantaged community members. I will be speaking to community leaders, archivists, employees, contractors and others.
This is a community story which addresses many of South Africa's social ills, and which I believe could inspire innovative solutions. I would ideally like to...
