Andries Botha (known to most as Dries) was in a bicycle accident on 08 March 2024, where he was hit by a government vehicle in Potchefstroom. He had a massive head injury and his one lung was also damaged. He was flown by ER 24 to Netcare Alberton Hospital in Alberton where he was admitted to the trauma icu. On 28 March 2024 he was pronounced braindead and passed away on 29 March 2024. Currently his parents don't have any finances to cover the medical bills that is coming in from his duration in hospital, which the medical aid didn't cover. If there is anyone to assist with any donation towards outstanding medical bills, any amount would be appreciated.
