- Help Ash Govan Fight Stage 4 Brain, Kidney & Lung Cancer!
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,
We are reaching out for your support for Ash Govan, a loving father of two, grandfather of three and beloved friend to many! He was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer) which has metastized to his lungs and brain. He underwent 9 sessions of radiation for his brain but unfortunately he is not able to undergo chemotherapy or radiation on his kidney and lungs.
Ash’s oncologist has recommended a medication called Sutent, which can help stop the growth of the tumours. However, Sutent comes at a steep cost of R20,000 per month.
His medical aid has rejected payment for this medication, leaving this treatment out of reach for him as he is currently unemployed, hence we are turning to the kindness of others for help.
Every donation, big or small, will bring Ash one step closer to accessing this medication and saving his life.
