For 31 years, the South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG) has been the country's leading Mental Health advocate and provider of free support. We operate the only Suicide Crisis Helplines in South Africa, providing critical support that operate 24 hours, 365 days a year. The need for this service is overwhelming: 1 in every 4 calls we receive is Suicide-related, highlighting the urgent crises faced by countless South Africans. While global statistics are grim, the reality is that South Africa's had 14 000 deaths. Thus making accessible, immediate crisis intervention vital.
