Argentina 2026 - Weirdough Bakery Team

For years, Siya, Sibo, Jade, Finn & Vuyo have poured their hearts into sharing the love and culture of Argentina here in Somerset West.

But here’s the truth: none of them have ever been there. Most of them have never even been on an airplane.

This month of Heritage reminds us, a time when we celebrate the richness of culture and identity, that to truly share a culture, you must live it. So we’re asking for your help to make a once-in-a-lifetime journey possible.

We’re raising R289,000 to send the team to Argentina in 2026. The trip will cover flights, meals, accommodation, cultural experiences, and also the week our bakery will be closed.

We’re deciding between end of May 2026 or September 2026. The timing depends on:
1️⃣ How quickly we can raise the funds
2️⃣ Sorting out important travel documents for some of our team

They won’t be going alone. Adrian, our co-founder and Argentine native, will be their cultural guide, helping them discover the places, flavours, and traditions that inspire everything we share at Weirdough.
