Thank you to everyone who has helped me thus far. I was diagnosed with end stage kidney failure almost 7yrs ago. In this time i have had a few donors,first 1 could not help cause after the tests they found a cyst on her kidney. The second person was my sister but sadly we found out after all the tests she also has polisystic kidneys...
June this year a young man from our church offered to get tested and we recently found out that he is a match. My medical aid covers all in hospital tests for both the donor and I but my day to day is finish, which means i have to pay for any tests that is not in hospital.
The blood tests and the Doctors appointments is very expensive and becuase the transplant will be done in Bloemfontein we have to travel there from Kimberley.
Im a single mom with 4 kids, i lost my husband to cancer 8yrs ago. This past year has been very difficult for us as i was in and out of hospital. Last year Christmas i spent in hospital and my kids had to stay with friends.
