Help Our Assumption Convent Rowers Make It to Boat Race 2024!
Hey everyone!
We’re reaching out to you with some exciting news— Assumption Convent will once again be competing in the prestigious annual South African Schools Boat Race in the Eastern Cape in December! This is a massive deal for our top 6 qualifying girls who are attending and we couldn’t be prouder. But, we need a bit of help to get them there.
These girls have been working so hard, from the time they first picked up an oar as shy 12-year-olds to now, where they’re ready to take on one of the biggest challenges in school rowing. Competing at Boat Race is something they’ve dreamed about for years, and now it’s within their reach. But, as you can imagine, getting to Port Alfred isn’t cheap.
We need to cover the costs of:
- Transport for the team to Port Alfred
- Accommodation while they’re there
- Food to keep them fueled and ready to race
- Touring Kit
This experience is more than just a competition—it’s a chance for our girls...
