My name is Aston Isaacs (17) and I am currently in my matric year. I have been accepted to start studying at Pietermaritzburg's IIE Varsity College in 2024. I am so fortunate to have also been selected for a scholarship offered by the college to pay an amount of my college fees. Unfortunately, I am raised by a single parent, who is unemployed and she is unable to afford to pay the outstanding balance of R22 000 that we will need to pay. It has always been ny dream to study towards a law degree since the age of 8. I am so blessed to have been given the opportunity to study at Varsity College and receive the scholarship, which I never thought would be a possibility for me. I am so passionate about studying and I am determined to further my education in order to make a better life for myself as well as my mother.
