Atlehang Faith Malemane, a young girl , South African born at Clinix Tshepo Themba Private Hospital , she is a remarkable 9-year-old girl ,whose talent is making significant waves in the world of chess. As the eldest of two children and a Grade 4 learner at Nova Pioneer Private School, Atlehang Faith is poised to represent South Africa on the international stage, at THE COMMONWEALTH CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 ,taking place in the City Of KALUTARA in SRI LANKA from 16 MAY to 26 MAY 2026.
Atlehang's dedication to chess has yielded impressive results: she currently holds a Junior Master Title with South African National Colours. Her skill was further cemented at the recent South African Junior Chess Championship 2026 ,in North West Province , where she qualified to be part of the team to represent Chess South Africa in year 2026.
