Little baby Austin was born on the 30th of August 2023.
Unfortunately, doctors have detected a ventricular septal defect (VSD), commonly known as a hole in the heart. This hole, located between the lower heart chambers, allows oxygen-rich blood to flow back into the lungs instead of being pumped to the rest of the body.
Austin is scheduled for surgery on the 4th of December, and the medical expenses are mounting. Unfortunately, the medical aid doesn't cover all the costs, and there's currently a co-payment of R80000.
