Welcome to the Active Autism & Neuro-Diversity Allyship Foundation (AANDAF). Our mission is simple but profound: to champion true belonging by integrating Autistic and neurodivergent individuals into everyday social and leisure spaces.
Historically, public spaces and recreational events have overlooked the unique sensory and social needs of the Autistic community, often leading to isolation and a lack of participation. We are actively changing that narrative.
This campaign raises funds to support our community initiatives, highlighted by our Annual Autism Family Picnic at the Groenkloof Nature Reserve in Pretoria. This event provides a beautifully safe, sensory-friendly day designed for our community to connect, learn, and celebrate the beauty of difference without barriers.
