My journey into the world of Autism didn’t start with a handbook; it started with a beautiful, quiet mystery.

My son Keenan was born. While other toddlers were finding their words, Keenan’s world was a silent one. He avoided eye contact and found the sights and sounds of the public world overwhelming. Three years later, my daughter Kayla-Beth arrived, bringing her own unique rhythm—delayed motor movements and a heart that needed the comfort of a strict routine to feel safe.

As a mother, you want to open every door for your children. But for us, the doors kept closing.

We faced overcrowded clinics where we were just a number. We met ECD centres that

turned us away because they weren't "equipped" for children like mine. We saw private schools that offered the care we dreamed of, but at a cost that felt like a mountain we could never climb. We encountered a world that often lacked the compassion to understand that "different" isn't “less.”

In that moment, a fire ignited! A purpose was set!
