Avanya Espag survives tragic dog attack

I would like to tell you about our very special little girl Avanya Espag.  She is full of life, always laughing, and loves to perform and entertain everyone around her. She has the kind of energy that lights up every room she walks into, and her playful spirit brings so much joy to us her family and friends.

But on the 29th of August, in Thabazimbi everything changed. In a matter of moments, her life was turned upside down when she was attacked by a large dog. The dog bit her face badly, leaving her with deep and very visible scars. What was once a little girl always ready to smile and perform is now a child who must face painful treatments, the trauma of the attack, and the fear of looking different.

 We are heartbroken. We want nothing more than to give her the medical care she needs — reconstructive surgery, ongoing treatment, and emotional support — but the costs are overwhelming and far beyond our reach.
