Help Baby Cayden Fight for Life 🤍

Our precious baby boy, Cayden, was born prematurely at 32 weeks, weighing only 1.7 kg. From the moment he entered this world, he has been fighting bravely for his life.

Cayden is currently in the neonatal ICU and relies on machines to help him breathe. Shortly after birth, he stopped breathing for a few minutes after swallowing some of mommy’s blood, which was a terrifying experience for us. He was also born breech, which added further complications.

Due to his early arrival, Cayden will need to remain in hospital for at least 7 weeks. During this time, mommy is only allowed to bring him expressed breast milk every 3 hours, while the medical team continues to care for him around the clock.

Unfortunately, medical aid does not cover all the necessary costs, and the ongoing hospital and specialist care has placed a huge financial strain on our family.

Despite everything, Cayden is a little fighter — a strong, brave baby who continues to show us just how powerful he is, even at such a tiny size.
