Upon waiting for our baby boy we received the news that mommy has been diagnosed with Polyhydramnios, that is too much amniotic fluid. This is at the stage where it is both dangerous for mommy and baby.
In result of this diagnosis baby Eloff has a cyst on both of his kidneys and one of his heart valves is swollen. This was not the best news for us as parents ending the second trimester.
Dr has confirmed that mommy will not be able to carry Baby Eloff for the full 40 weeks as the pressure is too much and cause extreme discomfort and pain therefore, there is a possibility that baby can be born prematurely.
Baby will definitely have to go to the NICU after birth where he will receive treatment from a cardiologist, urologist, specializes pediatrician and any other Dr needed at that time.
